anterville - The musical

ROBERT STEINER (book and lyrics): a showbiz veteran with almost 30 years under his belt in musical theater, television and film in Canada, the U.S. and Italy. Robert is a lyric tenor who studies vocal technique for over 15 years with some of Italy’s top singers. Among his top musical theater roles: Christian in "Moulin Rouge", Frollo in "Notre Dame de Paris", Eddie in "Blood Brothers", Alasdair in "MacGregors" (of which he is also co-librettist) presented in New York in 1996, Dantès in "The Count of Montecristo" (of which he is also librettist) and Sir Simon in "Canterville" (of which he is co-librettist).

VALENTINA DE PAOLIS (book and lyrics): makes her musical debut in Canterville, bringing her coloratura voice to the stage, delighting audiences with her incredible vocal extension. For the first time in musical history, a performer hits a high F during the musical. A profound student of British and international literature, Valentina’s insight was vital to the libretto and in bringing the characters to life.

FLAVIO GARGANO (composer, arranger and orchestrator) works as soundtrack composer for several movies, fictions and documentaries for Sky, RAI (Italy’s only public network) and Mediaset (Italy’s major private network). He makes his musical theater debut with Canterville, bringing all of his movie experience to the stage. His composition style has been compared to Danny Elfman, John Williams and Alan Menken.
